Os dois grupos Daft Punk e Justice foram homenageados com estátuas na fase de pré-cerimônia, onde a grande maioria dos prêmios foi entregue em mãos.
Daft Punk levou em duas categorias, Best Eletronic/ Dance Alive Álbum de 2007 e Melhor Gravação de Dance/ “Harder Better Faster Stronger”, enquanto os seus jovens compatriotas foram homenageados na categoria remix, Justice (MGMT) – Electric Feel (Justice Remix), ganhando de Stonebridge, Junkie XL, Moto Blanco e Deadmau5.
